Leaving all her other
wonderful qualities aside,
my grandmother
is the only reason
any of us are here.
She saved the universe
from asteroids
over and over again,
$20 in quarters
at a time.
All I had to do was
ride my bike
to Phillip’s Mall
and push
the right buttons.
